FAQ's- Frequently Asked Questions

Why when I am checking out it says it can't ship to my address?

This is mainly an issue with our perennials. If we are low on stock on a product it will say we cannot ship to you. We most likely can so just reach out via email (fantasticgard@optonline.net) and tell us which plants you were attempted to order and we will check out inventory and restock it if we can. Then you will be able to purchase!

How long will my plants take to arrive?

We ship out our orders on Monday-Tuesday to make sure the plants don't sit in the post office! Once you receive the email that your shipping label has been created these are our expected shipping times.

For the busy season (April-July), when perennials are available, orders are picked on Saturdays at 9 am every week. Any order placed between Monday at midnight- Saturday at 9am will be placed the following Monday.

Any order placed after Saturdays after 9 am will be picked the following Saturday and shipped the following Monday.

PLEASE EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS!

How does pick-up work for either location?

If you are picking up an order placed at our Patchogue location, 67 Avery Ave. Patchogue, New York 11772,  your order will most likely be ready for pickup within 1-2 days if placed during the week. After receiving the email that your order is ready to be picked up you can come into the store and show the worker at the counter your confirmation email and they will direct you to your order. Please allow longer if your order is placed on a weekend or holiday.

If you are picking up an order at the Union Square Greenmarket, we are only there on Wednesdays, Fridays, & Saturdays weather permitting, for pickup orders. Depending on the size of your order determines when it will be taken to the market, you will receive an email prior to the day we will be at the market. When you do so then you can show the confirmation email to Jorge and he will direct you to your order.

If you will not be able to pick it up on the expected pickup day just contact us using our form located in the Contact Us section and we can discuss it further. Please be patient as we do go to the market depending on the weather so wait till you receive your email that is it ready for pickup.

How many plants can I order at a time?

We can ship up to 10- 4" pots per order and 12- quart pots per order or 4 Gallon pots per order.

Once you have exceeded the amount that will fit in a singular box, we will contact you and have to split your order into 2 or more boxes. You will be asked to pay for an additional shipping box.

We are a small business so we are adjusting as we go.

How big are the plants you sell?

Most of our plants ship in 4" pots. We also sell some 3" as well as 6" now! They will continue to thrive in these pots but you can also re-pot into a new, larger pot if you wish. We recommend waiting 2 weeks after the plant arrives before repotting to minimize stress.

Where do you ship?

We ship to all states in the US except Alaska and Hawaii, due to government restrictions. At this time we are unable to ship internationally.

How are your plants shipped?

We ship with USPS Priority Mail. All plants are carefully packaged to withstand a bumpy ride. Still, we recommend you plan on being home when your shipment arrives to minimize the time your plant spends in the box.

What is your return policy?

We cannot accept returns on any live plants. Plant accessories and unopened items may be returned for a refund within 7 days of receipt.

FOR PERENNIALS:

If you receive a package that is clearly damaged on the outside please take photos so we can send these to the USPS for a refund. If you are unhappy with the condition your plants arrived please take photos and provide them in an email and we will discuss your options, none of which include a return.

What if I have an issue with the plant I received?

If you have an issue with your order, contact us here .

Do you sell cuttings?

We do not sell cuttings. Plant cuttings have a lower survival rate in transit and may not root easily in uncontrolled conditions. All of our plants ship fully rooted so that you receive the strongest, healthiest plant. It's less work for you!
