One of the brighter calatheas due to its bright, oval-shaped, striped leaves. Calathea Vittata is a shorter houseplant and grows in an upright position. Once it begins to grow more leaves it appears like a shimmering spiral!

Care

Light: Prefers bright to medium, indirect light. Strong direct light may scorch the leaves

Temperature: This plant will thrive at temperatures of 62-85F.

Water: Drench thoroughly then allow the top 1 inch of soil to dry out before watering again. Water less frequently in winter months when the plant's growth slows.

Humidity: High. To raise the humidity around your plant, place the pot in a shallow saucer full of pebbles. Add water to the saucer until the pebbles are almost submerged. This will create a humid environment for the plant.
