A very tall climbing Philodendron has a very dark green almost black color to its leaves which are gorgeous. The contrast of the veins throughout the leaves and the way they sit off the stems gives this Philodendron a signature look. You can spot this plant in any collection.

Care

Light: Prefers bright to indirect light

Temperature: This plant will thrive at temperatures of 62-85F.

Water: Drench thoroughly then allow the top 1 inch of soil to dry out before watering again. Water less frquently in winter months when the plant's growth slows.

Humidity: High. To raise the humidity around your plant, place the pot in a shallow saucer full of pebbles. Add water to the saucer until the pebbles are almost submerged. This will create a humid environment for the plant.
